Exposure/Culture: ‘Renee Michelle’ Azalea, Azalea x Girard hybrida thrives in partial shade to shade, avoid planting in harsh afternoon sun. Prefers well drained, moist, acidic soils. After blooming apply an acid fertilizer such as Miracle-Gro Azalea, Camelia and Rhododendron Fertilizer. During the first year maintain a regular watering schedule during dry periods to promote an extensive and deep root structure.
