Exposure/Culture: Elsie Lee Azalea, Rhododendron x Shammarello, prefers a well drained, organic soil, with acidic reaction. Should be planted in areas with light filtered shade. Mulch heavily and fertilize to maintain an acidic soil. Pruning should be done after flowering has ended.

Other Notes: Elsie Lee Azalea, Rhododendron x Shammarello, produces large 2” to 3” semi-doubled flowers. Leaves will turn a orange-red and yellow in fall.
