Landscape Notes: ‘Pleasant’ Azalea, Azalea x Girard hybrida is an excellent foundation plant, hedge, or border plant. Covered with dark green foliage which makes the white flowers stand out during early spring.

Exposure/Culture: ‘Pleasant’ Azalea, Azalea x Girard hybrida thrives in partial shade, avoid planting in harsh afternoon sun. Prefers well drained, moist, acidic soils. After blooming apply an acid fertilizer such as Miracle-Gro Azalea, Camellia and Rhododendron fertilizer. During the first year maintain a regular watering schedule during dry periods to promote an extensive and deep root structure.
