Landscape Notes: Rhythmic Blue Hydrangea, Hydrangea macrophylla, is a dwarf, reblooming mophead hydrangea. It produces enormous blooms that can be pink or vibrant blue depending upon the acidity of the soil. Great for hedges, mass plantings, borders, specimen, accents, and containers.


Exposure/Culture: Rhythmic Blue Hydrangea, Hydrangea macrophylla, thrives in partial shade to full sun areas in the landscape. It prefers rich, moist, well drained soils.


Other Notes: Rhythmic Blue Hydrangea, Hydrangea macrophylla, should be given aluminum sulfate to keep the blooms a vibrant blue. Minimal pruning is required to keep this hydrangea looking its best. Fertilize in spring.
