Landscape Notes: Schip Laurel, Prunus laurocerasus ’Schipkaensis’, is a versatile plant that makes an excellent natural hedge or foundation plant. It performs well even in shady locations. Schip Laurel, Prunus laurocerasus ’Schipkaensis’, is not spectacular in flower, but foliage provides good textural contrast.

Exposure/Culture: Schip Laurel, Prunus laurocerasus ’Schipkaensis’, prefers full sun, partial shade, or even full shade. Performs well in moist soils that are well drained and high in organic matter. Very Hardy. Schip Laurel, Prunus laurocerasus ’Schipkaensis’, prune or shear as desired.

Other Notes: Schip Laurel, Prunus laurocerasus ’Schipkaensis’, can be used as a foundation plant, hedge, or screen. This plant grows well, even in difficult urban conditions. With its attractive green foliage year round Schip Laurel, Prunus laurocerasus ’Schipkaensis’, makes a great privacy hedge or windbreak. Another huge plus of this plant is, it also is drought and deer resistant!
