Landscape Notes: ‘Gold Mound’ Spiraea, Spiraea japonica has one of the longest blooming periods. Starts flowering in summer and continues into early fall. ‘Gold Mound’ Spiraea, Spiraea japonica makes a fine addition to the perennial garden or border in front of evergreen plantings. It has great potential as a plant for edging bed areas or borders.

Exposure/Culture: ‘Gold Mound’ Spiraea, Spiraea japonica thrives in full sun or partial shade conditions. Prefers well drained that receives moderate moisture. Prune immediately after flowering if needed.

Other Notes: ‘Gold Mound’ Spiraea, Spiraea japonica produces a brilliant light chartreuse-green foliage and hold its color all season long. Flushes of beautiful pink flowers appear in June and July.
