Landscape Notes: ‘Endless Summer’ Hydrangea, Hydrangea macrophylla has enormous blooms that are almost as large as a basketball. It produces these flowers throughout the summer season unlike most hydrangeas which only last for a few weeks. ‘Endless Summer’ Hydrangea, Hydrangea macrophylla makes a great hedge, border along a walkway or fence.

Exposure/Culture: ‘Endless Summer’ Hydrangea, Hydrangea macrophylla prefers well drained soils and will grow in full sun or shade. Prune to encourage more bloom production.

Other Notes: ‘Endless Summer’ Hydrangea, Hydrangea macrophylla can produce blooms that are hot pink or blue depending upon the pH of your soil. If you prefer blue flowers increase the acidity of your soil however, if you prefer the hot pink flowers just increase the alkalinity of your soil. As an added bonus the flowers can be taken inside to create wonderful and fragrant flower arrangements.
